We'd never been to this museum before, but decided to take advantage of the free entry and check it out. We were pleasantly surprised – there was lots to see, do and learn and a rather nice cafe too. I even got dressed up as a Viking and held a real viking sword and axe!
There were some great crafts to do as well, so it kept me quiet for quite a while!
Today we visited one of the most intriguing places I've ever been! But first, a short trip with Nanny Cuckoo into the Yorkshire Dales took us to the Wensleydale Cheese Factory where we saw exactly how the cheese is made and even got to taste some samples in the shop (which is kept at a nice cool temperature – something to remember on those hot summer days!).
Then we continued on until we reached The Forbidden Corner – the strangest place in the world! It's hard to describe this place – it's a bit like a maze, but more than just that – it's full of strange items, puzzles, underground lairs, secret paths and more. Check out their website for more information: http://www.theforbiddencorner.co.uk
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend it to anyone!
Here we are having some fun at Happy Mount Park in Morecambe, one of our favourite places to go!
This week in my class we've been learning about being healthy. One day we were asked to bike to school, so we got a pump, blew up the tires, made sure to wear my helmet and off we went!
I let Zachary come along on his bike too and he had even more fun than me – mainly because he didn't have to pedal!
